How to auto-sell on DonutSMP with your PC off
Updated August 2026 · 5 min read
You can run a sell command on a loop while you are offline. The afkclient.pro command scheduler sends any command you give it at a fixed interval, so your inventory gets cleared and your balance keeps climbing without you at the keyboard. Set the command, set the interval, close the tab.
Why auto-selling matters more than staying online
An AFK account with a full inventory stops earning. Your farm keeps producing, the items keep arriving, and every one of them lands on the floor or backs up in a hopper. The account is online all night and you wake up to the same balance you went to bed with.
Selling on a timer is what turns uptime into money. It is also the part most AFK setups get wrong, because a client that can only walk and jump cannot run a command.
What you need first
- An account connected to
donutsmp.net- see the DonutSMP AFK guide if you have not set that up yet. - A farm producing something sellable, with the output reaching your inventory.
- The sell command your server uses.
Setting up the scheduler
- Open your connected account in the afkclient.pro dashboard.
- Go to the command scheduler.
- Add your sell command exactly as you would type it in chat, including the leading slash.
- Set the interval - how often the command repeats.
- Save, and confirm the command appears in the in-game chat log the first time it fires.
That last step is worth doing before you leave it overnight. If the command is wrong, the chat log tells you in thirty seconds instead of eight hours.
Choosing a safe interval
There is a window between two failure modes. Too frequent and you hit the server's command cooldown, spam the chat, and look exactly like automation to anyone watching. Too slow and your inventory fills between runs, which puts you back where you started.
Work it out from your farm rather than copying a number: time how long your inventory takes to fill during normal play, then set the interval to roughly half that. A slower interval that always works beats a fast one that trips a cooldown.
Sell Axe or a sell command?
They solve different problems. A sell command empties your inventory on a timer. Sell Axe sells as you break blocks, which suits a mining or chest-breaking loop rather than a passive farm. If that is your setup, the Sell Axe guide covers it properly - there is no need to run both.
What happens if the bot disconnects?
Auto-reconnect brings the account back and the schedule resumes. You do not need to reconfigure anything after a server restart. This is the main practical reason to run the session in the cloud rather than on a PC that might sleep, reboot for an update, or lose its connection while you are asleep.
Is automating commands allowed?
Server rules on automation vary and change. Check DonutSMP's current rules and Discord before running scheduled commands, and keep the interval sane. afkclient.pro connects the way the vanilla client does, but that does not make any particular server's rules permissive - that is worth confirming for yourself.
